Las Vegas 4 (TOR - 3), Tacoma 0
RHP David Pauley (3.41) threw six innings and let three of the runs score on eight hits (2 HR!), a walk, a hit batter, and three Ks. Whatever, M’s win! What’s that you say? Jeremy Reed hit both home runs. Oh man… RHP Andy Baldwin (3.92) pitched the next two and let a run score on three hits and a walk. RHP Levale Speigner (4.91) hit one in the ninth.
The Rainiers were on the receiving end of a complete game shutout. Do I have anything to talk about? Yes I do. 2B Ramon Vazquez (2B, .242) doubled and RF (tee hee) Brad Nelson (.293) walked twice. Those are my things I can talk about.

High Desert 8, San Jose 4 (SF 0)
LHP Bobby LaFromboise (4.02, PO) did not last all that long, giving up three runs on eight hits, a walk, and two Ks in four innings. Not good. The relief of him was at least decent though. RHP Ryan Moorer (1.46) had a single and two walks in an inning and two-thirds, though RHP Steven Richard (5.27) would give up a run on two hits in the next inning and a third, and RHP Cheyne Hann (4.74, S) rebounded from some bad outings to get his fourth save with a hit and a K in the final two.
2B Kyle Seager (2 R, .317) had three hits out of the leadoff spot, and further on down, DH Nate Tenbrink (2 RBI, .400), RF Johermyn Chavez (R, A, .203), and CF Denny Almonte (2B, HR, 2 R, 2 RBI, .294) had two hits apiece, with LF Jake Shaffer (HR, 2 RBI, .282) hitting his second home run. I’m pretty sure Tenbrink is still hitter of the week, but Chavez is giving him a run.

Clinton 3, Quad Cities 4 (STL + 7) (ten innings)
LHP James Gilheeney (2.92, L) gave up two runs on two hits (HR), five walks, and six Ks in fiven ad two-thirds innings which is uh…. Um…. RHP John Housey (3.18) gave up an unearned run on two hits, a walk, and two Ks in the next inning and a third. RHP Daniel Cooper (4.40) took it through the ninth, allowing a hit, plunking one, and walking two. In extras, LHP Jose Jimenez (2.25) came in and failed to record an out, with an error, a hit, another error, and a walk scoring the run. Boy howdy that’s a stupid way to lose a game.
SS Nick Franklin (2B, R, .328) had a double and 2B Gabriel Noriega (R, SB, 2 E, .169) walked twice. The lineup struck out fourteen times. Suck.
